a little part of my life

For lack of anything to post due to the fact we haven't done anything in the last couple of weeks. I thought I would post some pictures of one of the houses we built. Some are out of order but this house was built for a couple here in Culbertson. I didn't get a lot of picture because the house left to quickly but I will see if when Sarah goes back out to work she will take pics for me.

Mother Daughter Tea

Today June and I had a mother daughter tea for Girl Scouts. We went to the Chief Motel and got so meet Mrs. Southwest Nebraska and have tea and the most wonderful "tea snacks" to go with. There were scones, finger sandwiches, short bread, muffins, veggie pizza, and so much more. Then we got to play dress up and get pics taken.

Happy Birthday

Since I won't have time tomorrow I thought I would give a shout out to my dad who will be "old" tomorrow. I hope you have a great day, we love you. I would also like to say Happy Birthday to my Godfather Mr. Vrbas...I hope your day was great also.

The New Dining Room

To start off we decided that we are done with the Mohawk so this is the new and improved Austin...

We are seeing the end of the tunnel with the dining room. All we have left is to hang up all my moose stuff and finish putting up the trim...I'm so excited.

A few to tie you over

Just thought I would update on the rest of our holiday season. On Christmas Eve we went to Adams moms house but I forgot my camera so sorry no pics from there. We had a good time and again the kids got spoiled. June got everything she asked for and Austin got his new compound bow from grandpa. On Christmas day the kids got up to see what Santa brought them and were again very happy. We hung around the house till it was time to head to Palisade and go to my grandparents where it was actually a pretty good night. I didn't get a lot of pics because we were all talking and I lost track of time.

To top off the holidays on Christmas Eve Timber Creek did another lay off. For now Randy and I are still working and we will take it day by day. Adam hasn't worked in almost 3 weeks but hopefully will get to work next week. That is a whole long story in itself. New Years Eve we stayed home and played a couple of games with the kids and June had a friend stay the night. That is our lovely life up to date. If anything exciting happens you will be the first to know.
