Christmas with the Miners'

Since mom has to work the whole week of Christmas and New Years we did our Christmas on Saturday. It was a lot of fun and I think everyone was happy with what they got.

our tree and piles of gifts

This was the first gift of the night. I decided that I wanted to get Austin a new puppy for Christmas. Well since you can't really wrap a puppy I wrapped up some dog food, the dishes, leash, and collar and gave it to Austin. He was a little confused.

Then Lillie pointed out to him that Adam was holding a puppy and then it all made sense. We got this little guy from Tammy Werner and his name is Bolt. He is ornery and fits Austin so perfectly.

Austin wanted to play with Bolt instead of opening up any more gifts.

But he made time
June made out pretty good too.
She is really liking fashion designing stuff...this is one of the many gifts she got to do that.
Her new Tinkerbell statue

Hunter who I think enjoyed the night quite well...and below is Belle tearing in to one of her gifts.

As a gift for the whole family we got Guitar Hero Rock band for the Wii and the kids were excited.

Bolt enjoying his gift from Grandpa and Grandma Miner

Randy and "little" Dre.

story of my life

We finally got the dining room and living room painted and am so glad. We still have flooring and trim to do but I can live with that. The pics don't show how good everything turned out but I tried.
dining room

After we got it painted Friday the kids got to put up the tree and Adam hung up my lights and Austin was just in love. He would sit by the tree and just look at it for hours.

my little angel (as you can see his halo...those are not horns by any means)

Last Monday was the kids' Christmas program and I thought they did a wonderful job. I didn't get a lot of pics because I was running the video camera and the digital camera.

My little girl looking so big

Austin is in the second row from the bottom third from left. He was such a character. At one point he turned around and was singing to his class. I will try to post more tomorrow of our Christmas with the Miner clan but till then Merry Christmas.

this looks like snow to me...

Adam and had a bet to what the weather was doing....I said snow and he said it's ice. I texted everyone asking their opinion and no one had my back. Everyone wrote back saying ice....call me crazy but I still say snow. I will try to post more pics later of my new dining room and living room, and at work one of our houses was set in Culbertson and Randy got pics of it also, so i will try to get them on here to show what we do all day.

Progress is made...

Well we are finally progressing on the house. I am a couple of hours away from Austin's room being completely painted. Austin was a big help and had so much fun getting to paint his own room...

Once June finally got home she helped also and she too had a ball

one finished wall..... I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

talking to santa

This last weekend we went to Wal-Mart and Santa was there taking pictures with Mrs. Clause. This is the first time Austin has ever sat on Santa's lap and when they were getting their candy Mrs. Clause came over just laughing. I asked what was going on and she said, "Well your daughter would like a rock polisher but I think it's going to be a little hard to get your son what he wants." So of course I had to ask what he wanted and her reply was just priceless. "He wants a baby brother." Then she lost it laughing again. After we got home Santa was here in Culbertson and the kids told him again what they wanted and Austin had the same reply except he added a video game. Oh the things kids say.

Thanksgiving weekend

Oh what a busy weekend. Thursday we went to my grandparents in Palisade and had supper with the whole family. It was nice to see everyone back but we really didn't get enough time to talk with everyone.
Getting ready to head out.

Tristen, Austin, and Hunter spent most of the night trying to get the football from Lillie. She is of course the tallest of them all and was holding it above their heads...they figured out the only way to get the ball from her was to tackle her. We then decided to do family pics and here is our huge family....
Randy, Sarah, Lillie, Hunter, and Dre

me and mine

Aunt Deb, Uncle Byron, Autumn, Sasauna, Leiauna

Uncle Scot, Aunt Mandi, Tony, Caleb, and Nicholas

Larissa, Shane, Sandy, Tristen, Lemoine, Ashley (and baby number 2) Makyn, and Nate

Uncle Cliff, Aunt Nancy, Jeremy, Zachary, Ben, Derek, and Tyler

When we were all done we headed back to mom and dads to hang out. Dre got a kick out of the cat toys...
Friday night we went bowling with Adam's boss Kelly and his kids and girlfriend, and had a really good time. Even though I got beat by both of my kids all night. Yesterday we had Thanksgiving dinner with Adam's dad and again we all ate to much and just sat around talking all night. Today we will be going to see Santa at the craft show here in Culbertson and that should put an end to our Thanksgiving weekend.

A week in our life

This has been a very busy week in our house hold. Tuesday my boss was fired so all hell has been breaking loose at work. Wednesday night I had Girl Scout training all night. Thursday June had a meeting till 5 in Trenton, I had to come home drop her off and head back to Trenton for another Girl Scout meeting and then finally got to head off to pool. Friday Austin and I hung out while Adam and June took Mike to the store...

You can see just how much fun we had. All tuckered out.

Austin and I having fun with the camera. I had to work all day Saturday so Adam took the kids to North Platte and we found out our daughter is growing way to fast. Both kids needed shoes and June is up to a 5 1/2 already. Saturday night we had Thanksgiving at Char's and we celebrated my nephew Jaydens 2nd birthday. It was a lot of fun.
Just one little bite is all I need.

Riding away waiting for gifts.

June and Jayden playing ball....that was the game of the night

Austin and Jayden waiting for June to throw the ball.

Brandon and Jayden eating cake.

He was such a little ham.

On Sunday we were supposed to have another tatt party but ended up with just one tatt but a ton of piercings. There were 3 nose rings and Adam got his lip pierced for the second time. Sarah came over because she was one that got her nose pierced and we got to play with Dre. I figured since his dad won't post pics I will....isn't he getting so big? Then Sunday night I wanted to go to the movies so we convinced Adam to take us and we all went to Bolt. I highly enjoyed it that is for sure. To top off this wonderfully long week June ended up with pink eye....so much fun I tell you. Well lets see how next week turns out....till then.

new snow suits

I'm hoping by buying these that there will be no more snow. But if there is we will be prepared.
